What a weekend!!

 What an amazing weekend it has been! First on Friday we had a little birthday boy. My grandson Rasmus is now 5 years old and that was a cause to celebrate. The big family party for him was on Sunday last week so this was just a little party here at my home for him and his brother and little sister.
Just to mark the day for him :-)
With ice cream and sweets.
Then on Saturday it was time for Eurovision Song Contest 2006.
This time held in Athens, Greece.
We did have high hopes for the Swedish song and it went rather well, she ( Carola) came in 5th. The big sensation this year was Finland with a monster looking rock group called *Lordi*. And guess what......they won!!!!
Congrats to Finland for their first number one in 40 years time.
The Eurovision Song Contest is a really big event and it can now be seen in other countries all over the world, not only in Europe.
I guess many of you have seen it already :-)
On Sunday Sweden got a new record. First, we became number 1
in the World Hockey Championship. Yippii!!!
But we also were the first nation ever to winn both the Olympics and the World Hockey game, the same year :-)
Not bad at all.
Well, pre summer is here, it is now late May and as usual this time of the year it is THUNDER season.
Today it was the first really bad thunderstorm and I have been offline most of the day. Better safe then sorry, so everytime it gets really close, I pull the plug to my Pc :-)
